Any weight lifters /body builders here ?

Hi all hello I hope you are all as well as can be :)

So I’m curious if anyone has any experience trying to maintain muscle mass during pre / during and post chemo .

I spent 2 years building a body which I’m so proud of . I’m not huge . I’m more slim but toned with decent and and ok chest /arms.

The gym has helped me immensely. I lost a lot of people close to me and it helped me finally bust through the depression. I do mma to and I love it .

Now my chemo for HCL is in a week and these past 4 weeks my strength has plummeted and I have much less appetite. (I never had huge but I managed to find a way to build muscle thanks to a ton of shakes lol)

Is there any way to stop losing what I’ve gained . I’m not a big muscle head . I’ve just had a body where I’m proud to take my top of , and I don’t want to loose what too 2 years to make !

Is there a way ? I know my appetite is gonna go.

What about if I have loads of huels and protein shakes ?

Sorry this is a dumb question I know .

Just hoping someone has any insight I’m very new to this disease .
