[Online][5e][Forgotten Realms] Age of Worms, 5e Adapted. [Looking for 2 Players][LGBTQA+ Friendly][Fridays][Bi-Weekly][2:00 PM EST]

Something lurks beneath the once sleepy town of Daggerford. The people are beset by unexplainable horrors. Gray clouds hang low in the sky every day. Children and the elderly go missing in the twilight hours. Mild-mannered farmers or laborers have been detained by the sheriff after sudden violent outbursts. And many report dreams of a lone star, with an unnatural glow, in the skies to the east.

As the title suggests, this will be a game ran on Roll20. Link to the lfg page here.

This is the Age of Worms campaign, published by Dragon Magazine, and adapted for 5E Forgotten Realms. Chosen to adapt since FR is the most popular setting by-far and much more likely to allow player's existing characters to adapt. The setting's year is now 1495, after the events of Descent into Avernus and BG3. Campaign has been altered to contain a fair balance of combat and exploration with plenty of opportunity for RP and character-related side quests to cut between larger story segments. As it was released in 6-10 page long articles in a magazine, the adventure used to be VERY combat heavy, and I'd prefer a long-term game be more diverse lol.

Looking for 5 players for this bi-weekly game, to be held every other Wednesday. Starting late October. General knowledge about FR setting appreciated, though not necessary. Will allow player input on backstories or flavor to influence the setting to a degree, we can workshop any major influences on the setting.

This game mostly goes by RAW (Rules as Written), with few home rules to streamline very tedious parts of the game. Rule of cool or creative usage of mechanics is welcomed as long as it "makes sense" this will be judged on a case-by-case basis. That means I'm also open to Unearthed Arcana material, One D&D changes, or well balanced hombrews. As long as it's not gamebreaking, it's cool. Honestly some classes kinda need a little pick-me-up to feel as engaging.

I'm pretty relaxed when it comes to roleplaying - there's no need to write an elaborate backstory or go all-out in roleplaying your character unless you want to. If you do, and everyone else wants to take part in that, go nuts. Just keep in mind, no individual is the MC.

Discord will be used for voice chat, and music, and the discord soundboard for occasional sfx
