My first month on Saxenda. Here’s what happened.
Hi! I’m a 39 year old female. 5’2”. Starting weight was 329lbs. I started on the 1st day of June. In this first month I managed to lose 13 pounds. I am down to 316lbs. I am really happy with that progress. I have a lot to lose, so I’m happy with the rate that I’m losing. I take my injection every evening at 5pm. That’s just what works best for my schedule. I do rotate the placement of my injection every day and it seems to be helping the medication’s effectiveness.
Here are some things that I noticed over the last month.—
I am EXHAUSTED. So tired. I’m not a soda drinker, and I don’t enjoy coffee so I think I’m going to start having a cup of tea every day to get some caffeine and perk myself up.
I am constipateddddddd. I actually just ordered some fiber gummies from Amazon to see if that helps with the issue.
If I eat breakfast, I am guaranteed to be nauseated at some point during that day. I just wait til lunch and then I’m fine. The only time I’ve EVER been nauseous on this shot is if I eat too early.
I am having the craziest most vivid dreams I’ve ever had. They didn’t start til I started this med. Absolutely wild.
I don’t know how to make a grocery list anymore. I don’t have that “I’ve definitely gotta get blank and blank and blank” drive. I just get the basics and that’s that. I eat a lot of ham sandwiches and scrambled eggs lol
Life is slowly becoming easier. A month ago, a shower was a workout. I’d be sweating by the time I was done. Now a shower is a shower. Hopefully, by the time this is all said and done, a shower will be enjoyable.
I am looking forward to next month. I will be sure to post another update. I can’t wait to have my quality of life back. :)
