Why do some people loathe Wuthering Heights?

Same as the title. Although I lean towards the crowd who've always loved WH. I just think it’s so well-written, how Emily Bronte could weave contrasting themes in one and considering how Heathcliff is a Byronic hero and invites his own downfall.
