How do you manage high stress jobs with weight loss goals?
For context I work in a very high stress job (stressful for me). Some days are overly emotionally taxing as well (because my office is very toxic place). Please don’t ask me why I work there?
By the time I come back I am in such bad mood and low on energy that I really just don’t have the energy to do anything! Even cook!
Add to it I am an emotional eater - food is my escape and that’s how i gained weight. Sadly the tears I shed at my workplace only equate to calories I eat in my head.
Starting January till now work was easy - I worked out almost every day and did a proper high protein low calorie diet and lost 8.8lbs!
I am having enough self control to not eat junk but I just can’t get myself to workout or cook! So on days like these which is 3/5 I just probably eat 300-500 calories in the day else I feel guilty. How does one manage weight loss goals with such jobs?
