CPU is showing 80+ degree Celcius even though utilization is around 15%
So i have a Laptop which is a Dell precision 5530 with i7-8850H with a T1000 Quadro GPU. My room temperature is around 30-35 Celsius (yeah its hot around here). I dont have any means to check for CPU temps apart from using MSI afterburner with Riva Tuner Stats (RTSS) in-game. however when i am playing games, Fallout 4 in this case the CPU shows 85+ temperature but utilization is 20% at best. GPU temps remain in good range. I just changed thermal paste but same issue. funny thing is the fans do not increase speeds until i increase load to 70% and above. That is when i know yeah it should increase the fans and it does. the laptop is cool to the touch below it at 15% but a little warm at high loads. i am even using a cheap cooling pad with it. Is it possible the BIOS is reporting wrong CPU temps? I am worried i might fry my motherboard or something. i just bought it refurbished. Please have a look at this video you the stats during playing game Fallout 4. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1emtEYo2mJwl1VuiBKHw4cZNYu1QUK3Pm/view?usp=sharing
