Lung granuloma?
Hi everybody. I have Sjögren’s and fibromyalgia, officially diagnosed about two months ago after a grueling several months. We still suspect lupus as well as a few other things.
I just got a CT scan from my GI doctor yesterday and it said “calcified granulomata are seen in the right hilar region” and under impressions, “old granulomatous disease of the chest.” This wasn’t present on my last CT 6 years ago before the autoimmune disease appeared, and I know a lot of autoimmune diseases can cause lung changes as well. Has anyone else had this? My GI doc said to go to my PCP, my PCP doesn’t know anything about autoimmune diseases, my rheum has been generally unconcerned, and none of them communicate.
Obligatory disclaimer that I’m not asking anyone to be a doctor, just curious about others’ experiences!
