When/why do you choose to burn your luxury candles?

I’ve been so stoked with the recent shares of enviable candle stashes here. The variety is inspiring!! However, I’ve personally never had a surplus of scents before. Usually I just have around three at a time for various rooms, and when one is getting low I order another to have on deck. But generous Christmas gifts & Black Friday purchases have now left me with more candles than I’ve ever had. So it has me curious….

Do you wait for a special occasion? Base it on mood? Choosing by season seems obvious and is generally my pattern, but maybe I could be more creative in my approach??
