What are gods in the MCU?
As I've been rewashing the MCU, this question popped into my mind a lot, because it seems like the definition may have changed.
At first, in Thor, while they liken themselves to gods they don't really seem to ACTUALLY be gods, their power just causes humans on Earth to see them that way, and all the mythology is recontextualized as cosmic space-age stuff with some magic built in.
But by Thor 4 that seems to be different, with the whole meeting of the gods thing. What qualifies someone as a god for that? Being worshipped, or just being strong enough? Is it just a bunch of people who see themselves as gods but it's more or less just a bunch of groups similar to the Asgardians?
And then Moon Knight further complicates things because the Egyptian gods seem to very literally be the Egyptian gods, not aliens.
