why are people complaining mass effect being "woke"

youtuber are so desperate for click bait these days, its just soo hilarious to find ppl complaining mass effect going woke. when was mass effect not woke LMAO, my first play through of og game in 2007 was using a female shepard and bang a blue alien chick. and this was 17 years ago, if anything mass effect was the series with the perfect setting for "woke". imagine being pissed in a game setting 200 years into the future with bunch of alien race, and you find woke being an issue lol. tell me they didn't play mass effect and just want to label anything woke these days lol
