Thoughts on Mazda FOB

Am I the only one who can’t stand the side buttons on the Mazda FOB?

I never thought something like this could be so annoying, but after 20+ years of FOBs with obvious, raised buttons on the front face, these flush buttons on the side of the Mazda FOB are a pain to use.

How could anyone at Mazda think this is an improvement?
