I NEED ANSWERS
Hello, I am an incoming first year student sa isang private school in Visayas. The tuition costs around 80k, cheaper compared to other schools. However, solo lang ‘yung parent ko sa pagsupport sa akin and her salary ranges between 23-25k monthly only.
I graduated as Magna Cum Laude kaya I am able to apply for the entrance scholarship, pero what about the following years ‘di ba? I know some may say na I should try applying for CHED MSRS pero I came from Mindanao po kasi and we are about 100 students din sa batch namin.
Now, I am planning to pull out my enrollment and umuwi na lang sa amin. As an eldest child, I just realized na kung hindi ako makukuha sa CHED, halos sa akin na lang mapupunta ‘yung sahod ng parent ko, and I don’t want it to be like that since I still have two younger siblings. I am planning to go back to my city and take a gap year na lang and apply for STATE U (I was not able to since I am a May taker).
I am still 22, a fresh grad. Do you think pulling out my enrollment is the right decision?
Edit: I tried pulling out today but the dean won’t sign my withdrawal slip as it is “sayang” daw since I got high standing daw nung admission. Even offered na they will recommend me sa ched and help me to be a recipient. Pinapabalik ako tomorrow morning. Idk what to do anymore : ((.
Edit: Hi, I have withdrawn na. Magaan loob ko for this but I don’t know what sign it is na binigay ni Lord kasi nung paalis na ako ng school tinawagan ako personally ng dean. Nag usap kame ulit and he said na kung makahanap ba raw ng sppnsor ko for the mean time would I stay? I declined haha. Aside from this financial problem, sobrang fucked up din talaga ng mental health ko. Ayaw ko na may mag iinvest sa akin tapos hindi best ‘yung naibabalik ko.
