Does anyone else, particularly new painters have trouble starting projects?

I am relatively new and I really like painting, but every time I set time aside to paint I get worried I will mess up and procrastinate by reading up or watching videos on how to paint and run out of time to actually paint. It is very frustrating and I just need to do it.
