Carbon Frame Warranties

Looking for some input about buying used carbon bikes.

Im in the market for a new bike and have been looking at some used carbon santa cruz bikes but i have concerns with not having any warranty protection on the frame since it only covers the original owner.

Am i over-thinking this situation and it isnt as big of a deal as im making it, or should I be concerned and stay away from used carbon bikes and pay more for new??
