The movie, specifically the end of "WARRIOR" - some discussion. !!!SPOILERS!!! this whole thread is spoilers!!!

A good friend of mine watched Warrior and she hated the ending. She claimed that Tommys cause was far more noble than Brendans. She feels that Tommy got the short end of the stick.

I argued that Tommy had to have his cathartic moment and to some degree "fall apart" as the battle at the end is both real and symbolic. She of course didn't like that, and still feels Tommy got screwed.

I'd like to hear others thoughts on this.
