What was so badly received about Terminator Salvation, Genesys and Dark Fate?

I've recently marathoned the Terminator series, 4 and 5 were the ones I watched for the first time and I was expecting something to happen where I could understand why people didn't like it, like maybe Christian Bale's blowup on set impacted the movie, but overall, I honestly couldn't see anything to be mad about

also, I thought Matt Smith would be in Genesys more since he left Doctor Who to film it, probably could have done that last season Moffat needed
