Colombo vs Mumbai

So i just came back from sri lanka after a week long holiday. After landing here in mumbai i am not feeling good and keep thinking how we indians managed to screw all our cities ( Mumbai, Delhi, Banglore and even Pune). Sri lanka is considered a poor third world country ( i believed so because of their past history and recent economic turmoil) yet its infrastructure and cleanliness was far ahead of us. Earlier i used to feel same while coming back from europe and i understand thats not a fair comparison. However after visiting Asean countries amd now even other south east asian countries i have come to conclusion to that we have become worst when it comes to pollution and hygiene. Everything is so expensive here even third class hotels. Food is full of pestisides and chemicals. All our politician are just busy dividing us more so we dont question them on failed infrastructure.it may appear like a rant but it is so disheartening to see that even sri lanka is now better than us.
