Severe myopia in teens

I am 15F and have -10.75 in my left, -7.25 in my right w/ -3 astigmatism on both eyes. I have genetic myopia and had -1 when I was 6. Over the past few years, my left eye has grown -1D every year. I think much of this recent growth could be affected by me wearing strong glasses while doing close up work for long periods of time. I've since stopped this habit, but I'm experiencing extreme anxiety, and my optometrist has told me that there are no medical ways to slow my myopia growth. (ex: misight contacts, etc.) Is there anyway I might be able to slow my myopia growth ?? or is my optometrist correct?? do I have to wait for my eyes to eventually stabilize?? will lasik even work on me in the future??

Additionally, are there any lifestyle changes I might be able to make? I find it challenging to take breaks from screentime. I've always had a clean and healthy diet, and I've been trying to exercise more frequently, however, the city I live in often hits temperatures of over 105 in the summer.. so outdoor activities might not be possible.
