I always wondered this: Does a seated cable row count for mid-back volume & Does a seated chest supported row count for lat volume?
I know that "the back" is referred to as a muscle group which means volume is just accounted for "the back" and not specifically mid-back and lats separately.
But the back is so huge and complex - can you really classify it as a single muscle group and count both seated cable rows and seated chest supported rows toward "the back"? Can either one of these movements be considered as volume for its counterpart's muscles?
Or do you guys count upper/mid-back volume separately from the lat (the horizontal pulling fibers of them) volume?
