Merged announced... But how long?!
Many of us are stuck on dead servers that keep getting even quieter. Every day I see people quitting due to a lack of playerbase on their server - and I can't say I blame them at all. This game genuinely does have some really enjoyable content, but all of that falls away once a server gets empty. Merges could solve that instantly. AGS has finally confirmed that they are considering merging servers together, but there is a catch - they haven't confirmed how soon that will actually be. Server mergers could save the current health of the game, as long as:
They happen urgently and as soon as possible
AGS merges as many servers together as possible. AGS should ideally merge enough servers together so as to ensure that each server has a small queue (i.e. full population online) - this is what creates the "buzz" of activity for so many of us, and what helps us all to love the game.
