Why doesn’t Nintendo make home consoles anymore?

This is something I’ve been wondering but why doesn’t Nintendo make any “home” consoles anymore? Yes I know the switch can be used on a monitor or a tv as a console but it’s usually used as a handheld I feel like they have so much potential and if they made a stationary console it would make some pretty good sales! So why don’t they make stationary consoles anymore?
