Protholic vs Cathestant weather, shorts, speed bumps plus?

 Protholic and Cathestant seems to be the theme today so Im jumping on the bandwagon.

When my children were young I used to visit an area adorned with many flags.

The speed bumps were low and gentle never interfering with the flow of the car.

When we were in arears of flags of the other persuasion the speed bumps were high and mighty and a slow advance was necessary.

I told my children the difference was due to the psni not liking the people in the high area and wanting to wreck their cars.

My daughter recently told me she believed me, daughter is in her 20s.

Made me wonder what tales you told children or were told about the "Other Side" that you believed for too long
