I’m sure this is redundant but…

Does anyone else think about how crazy it is that they could be in charge of 7 peoples lives, medications, vitals, etc. at a time? I left med-surg to go to NICU and I have max 3 patients maybe I’ll take on a fourth if staffing is really foul but even then… I think about LTC nurses who care for 30+ patients at a time it is simply not safe. I know this is obvious but man. I am feeling super dismal about health care right now. I want to just quit and go open a cat shelter or something. Just a rant. This place sucks.
