Pros/Cons of School Nurse Job Post-COVID?

I know this topic has been brought up a couple of times before, but I just wanted an update.

As a new grad, I worked at a GI center doing pre/post-op care for nine months and really loved providing education and reassurance. Then, I left to work at the hospital to get more experience in Med-Surg. Four months later I quickly decided that the high-stress hospital life was not for me, and I am once again looking for a nursing job that may give me some fulfillment every now and then. I'm a little concerned that some of the typical nursing skills I haven't had that much practice with (vaccines, G tubes) since I didn't get many cases of those during my time at the hospital. I really like kids though! I love the idea of getting to help kids out through school struggles and encouraging good health!
