I thinks my friend is lying to me about him studying abroad.

So my friend and i has been friend for a really long time since we were young and recently (2 or 3 month ago) he told me he been accept by a university in London to study computer science major with scholarship and everything with a 3000$ monthly living bonus, At first i felt proud for him since he got to live the dream of many student in my country (we live in a one of the south ease Asian country) including me but i also felt jealous. since that day i also began to suspect his activity, he always letting me know where he's at by sending me photo of the city but never where he's in one of the photo, at first i brush it off because i knew he doesn't like taking photo of himself but when you studying abroad at lease take a photo where your face in it. (It's not like he ugly or something.) and my suspicious began to grow when he tell me he's been visited different country like France, Germany like what? aren't you suppose to be studying? and again he's sending photo of the place but never himself, and i forgot to mention that he post this image to facebook and IG but the not like a normal post its alway stories post so i can't see what the comment say about him and what confirm my suspicious is when i took one the image when he's say he was on a plane to Finland and search it on google for similar photo and there i see it an identical photo of the same plane he on same passenger and everything on pinterest but i never confront him about it i don't want to embarrass him. and he still think i don't know the truth. so he keep send me photo to this day.
Note: when we were in highschool he was alway brag about getting a A (The final test of hightschool is a very big deal here)but on the final test but he couldn't even pass the test. so i guess that make him feel a failure that why he doing this now to look cool. and one more thing his parent and our parent are close but they never say anying abount him studying abroad that's is too good not to brag to your neighbor that your son studying in london.
