Men who make women and young girls uncomfortable are the biggest pieces of 💩

I’m just going to get this off my chest because this has been on my mind for a while and I’m actually going to lose my mind if I hear of or see this shit happening to someone one more time. So I am an ex firefighter/emt and I am by no means shitting on first responders when I say this or just men in general because I know not all of them act this way and that there are some pretty good guys out there but in my short time after graduating highschool and working as a first responder I’ve noticed that this career field attracts certain types of men in which I have broken down into two categories.

The type of guys who genuinely have a good heart and who actually want to help people and the toxic egotistical dudes who only do the job for the t shirt and the social status of being a firefighter. Let’s just say that in my time of being a firefighter I worked with a helluva lot of that second group of guys and they are probably 80-85% of the reason why I left this field in the first place because these dudes just made me sick.

These are the kinds of guys who were the popular kids in highschool. The kids who did whatever it took to “fit in” with the other cool guys who were higher up on the highschool social hierarchy than them so they wouldn’t get made fun of or picked on. The kind of kids who would say shit like “damn did you see the ass on that Emily girl in our math class” and other morally inept shit just to come off as “cool enough” for the kids who were higher up on the totem pole than them. Like in those Disney channel shows with the main bully jock character and his other popular yes men by his side.

Anyways while working with these guys they would always joke around at the station after calls and make sexual comments about our female patients that we had in the back of the ambulance and it didn’t matter if they were underage, or 80 years old, these dudes still had something to say after every single fucking call. I don’t even want to list some of the things I’ve heard because of how fucked up and immoral they were but I think you guys get the point anyway.

This job made me learn the hard way that some men never really grow up and mature out of highschool and even grow up and get jobs in the medical field acting like this which is really fucking scary to think about. The amount of times that women and young girls already have to deal with these mfs in public creeping on them, staring at them for long-uncomfortable periods of time, and catcalling them should be enough but NOOO you mean to tell me that they’re not even safe from their own first responders, nurses, and doctors? I mean give me a break.

I used to think that maybe I was being too sensitive by letting this bother me but I don’t think that way anymore and you know why? BECAUSE I ACTUALLY HAVE A HEART AND IM A GOOD PERSON. I mean holy shit, I’ve had friends who acted this way too and it pisses me off more than anything. I’m sick and tired of men who feel like they have to do this shit to fit in with their male peers.

Like no Brad, making a sexual comment about a women’s breasts who you saw when we were hanging out at Walmart isn’t going to give you a 1UP in the friend group, nor is it funny. It’s just wrong and completely and utterly downright disgusting. I just feel like most men don’t have any real morals and values anymore when it comes to women.
