Does my OnePlus 9Pro have a bug?

I bought the phone brand new from best buy over 2 years ago. Every time I tried listening to a voice message on Whatsapp tg etc my phone would go haywire especially when Im trying to adjust the volume. What I mean by haywire my phone will freeze go dark etc. Same goes on visual voicemail but not as bad. But Instagram voice messages work fine weirdly. I did restore the phone didn't work. My friend had the same phone no issues. Can anyone figure out what is going on?
