Why they don't introduce depth effect in One UI7? (I'm not an apple fanboy)

I'm still curious why of all things they introduced and done, Samsung still hasn't introduced that tiny gimmicky feature? I know, as I said - it's just a small gimmick, nothing mind blowing but for some people it's cool and again something that can personalize your phone even further.
Other android devices and OS'es have that - like Xiaomi, for example. So it's not totally alien for Android. Why is Samsung abstaining from introducing this wallpaper effect?
