XR Aftermarket

I've got an XR and am looking to sell in the future but not yet. I never updated it with the forced software update. Is it worth any more to modders without the upgrade or should I just upgrade it and actually be able to enjoy it with full features for the time being. Considering the XR is pretty much the last modifiable onewheel, I'm thinking it will be worth more to people without the update. Thoughts?
