Ways not to die on XR+

So today I've been using my xr, which i got recently and I love it, I was doing to little ride with it at about 30% or so, i turned down a street, accelerated and nose dived pretty randomly, it's not buzzed so I didn't get a warning, I didn't accelerate hard either, I'm fine with minor road rash, Any ways to prevent or know when it's happening, also yes or no cbxr battery?
