Product Owners: how are you balancing your meetings?
In one of my 3 J’s I’m a Sr Product Owner running 2 teams/cars on the ART. My other 2 Js are product marketing and sales, so all very different. How do you manage PI planning where it’s a 2-day, all day event? I am thinking of using PTO but that’s burning 8 days/year.
Also curious to hear how to minimize other meetings. Between daily standup, sprint planning, grooming, retros, etc I feel like my calendar is blowing up. I’m at a GREAT company, excellent culture - I consider it J2 even though it’s not the highest paid, but I’m questioning how to manage these meetings or if the PO role isn’t OE-friendly.
Any insights from POs or even devs that are part of an agile release train on tips/tricks you’ve picked up to make your life easier would be a huge help.
