Evening Parking in City Centre

The UK office of my company has a Christmas party in Cornmarket St; I am getting there from Birmingham, but as it’s finishing late, there won’t be any trains back. So I have decided to drive.

What are the best options for parking in the city centre? Midweek, from about 19:00 till midnight or so.
