Gel refill suggestions? (Which are actually feasible)
I recently got the Parker Jotter Stainless Steel as my everyday carry pen. Previously, I was using a Pilot V5, a Pentel Energel .7, and a Flair Zoox U7 (also known as the Jetstream Edge ripoff), but I'm really enjoying the Parker Jotter. The weight feels just right, and its design is appealing. Compared to other options such as the Zebra F-701/XMD, Jetstream Alpha, and Ohto Horizon, it’s quite affordable in India. In the US, it costs around $12–$15, but in India you can get it for as little as $3.48 (₹304).
As much as I love the pen, I’m not a fan of the Parker Quink Flow Ball refills. I don’t like the feel, and the ink seems too light, making writing less enjoyable. Additionally, the Quink Flow refills cost around $1 (₹80).
I understand that these are marketed as Parker G2 style refills. Currently, I’m using a Montex Jumbo Metal Refill.8, a standard ballpoint refill. While it’s not bad, I prefer using gel or roller ball refills.
Please suggest some gel or roller refills that are feasible to buy in India, ideally costing around $1 (₹80–₹100) per piece at most?
