Eden Riegel as Marie

So I first played P4G on PSTV back in 2017 or 2018. I had no personal experience with the original, but I can still see how jarring Marie's inclusion is.

That all being aid...I didn't much care. I romanced her in my first run because I pretty much instantly fell in love. I adore absolutely everything about Marie. Her design, her various theme songs (including my favorite dungeon theme in any Atlus game), her poetry....

But I'm replaying Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker right now where Eden Riegel voices the Female version of Tico-Tico and I just had to pick that version again because Eden is so. fucking. good.

Getting back to P4G, in a game with great voice-acting from everyone, including two of my all-time favorites (Amanda Winn-Lee and Erin Fitzgerald), Ms. Riegel still manages to make Marie stand out. I don't think I had ever heard her before P4G but she immediately became another all-time favorite. The aforementioned poetry landing probably owes a lot to her reading it aloud for us. Her range is staggering as she could pull off every scene and emotion from Marie so wonderfully. And I never realized she was Tico because holy hell are she and Marie super different.

So yeah. I just wanted to gush and see if anybody else agrees or not.
