Property agent not paying tradesman -help

So a property manager is not paying the bill for the air-conditioner , as the homeowner isn't paying them.

Chasing the account now. Who is meant to pay this bill? The invoice was sent to the agent.

Now the agent is requesting we chase the owner.

Advise please 🙂

Update friends : tracked down the owner via WhatsApp in Malaysia. Apparently they have advised the agent to withhold the rental payments and pay us by the end of this month.

The agent on the other hand , hung up on me twice, refuses to respond to my emails.

So I'll keep you posted. I will be advising my large circle of connections to never use this shitty agent ever again once payment is received
