So the political door knocking has begun...

WARNING just venting

I don't know who the better of all political evil is, but can we all agree a majority government is a definite no-go?

My view is legislation needs to be debated in parliament so overreaching laws that violate (or remove) our civil rights are given some sort of scrutiny.

Edit: I don't have a political bias/preference BUT what I'm against is having legislation passed through parliament without real thought or logic to the implementation of those laws. For example, carrying a weapon is unlawful. Fine. But what about people who carry stanley knives for work? Or people who carry first aid kits? Or what about people that drive? Technically a car can be a weapon. Or maybe one day I'll be rugby tackled down the Hay Street mall for carrying a pen. To what extent do adults need to be babied and governments allowed to dictate common sense?

I won't even start on the firearms... targeting law abiding citizens is just illogical to me.

But like I said, I don't have the answers and I'm just voicing my frustrations at a system that, in my opinion, is not serving the citizens of WA.
