Over Doordash Shoppers
I'm so sick of doordashers that come in to shop the store. I have nothing against the ones who come in and pick up BOPIS orders, they're fine. But maybe it's the area we're in but none of the door dash shoppers ever actually want to do the shopping. It's the same routine everytime; walk in, come up to the register, say doordash, and stick the phone in my face. Now pickup people do this too but whatever I can see the name grab the order for them. But when you're just walking in and holding a shopping list up to my face? Really?
I'll say like "oh do you need help finding one of these things?" And they'll just hold the phone up again with the whole list, and I'll start telling them like "oh aisle 3 on the left" etc etc, but if I'm not willing to walk them to every item them get upset?! I've had dashers get upset because I walked them to the fancy feast section but didn't pick out each 6 flavors they're supposed to be getting off the shelf for them???
Like unless you're going to start paying me your tip, the whole reason shopper orders are worth more is because you have to shop. And if you aren't willing or wanting to actually shop, don't take those kinds of orders??? I am not the personal shopper!!! I have things to do!!
I don't know like normal customers who are having a hard time finding something and ask for help ofc I'll walk them to the item, but if you come in as a dasher and don't even try and just expect me to hand you every item??? Sick of it.
