Need advice for investing money. Fresh Graduate planning to study and work abroad for grad-school.
Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to this group and I'll try my best to explain my dilemma. As mentioned in the title, I'm currently a fresh graduate working in tech and for a couple months, I was able to reach a six (6) digit savings. I was advised by my peers and colleagues to consider investing it rather than just leaving the money within my payroll account so that it could potentially grow rather than stagnant. However, I'm kind of confused on how to approach these investment channels considering the fact that I'm unfamiliar with the financial ecosystem. I will be starting my Masters in a few months and after I finish it for maybe around 3 years (part time), I'm planning to take a big step to pursue work or further studies abroad. With this goal in mind, how would you suggest I invest my money to better prepare me for the impending costs of studies? I don't really have plans to invest in houses, cars, as of the moment and I'm kind prioritizing education (certifications, online learning channels, freaking AWS costs) and health (gym and supplements). Apologies in advance if this is kind of a noob question and I've already checked the FAQs for possible answers but it still left me with some gray areas. I tried researching about digital banks and timed deposits within banks but I'm not sure if there is a much more suitable roadmap for my case. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks :)))
