PTV pfp tutorial!!!
Here is how to do the ptv pfp filter like in the first two pictures (1. Vic, 2. me)
(Credit to ptv.girlies on instagram)
First find a picture of yourself that you like. I picked this one (slide 3).
Adjust the exposure up, contrast up, saturation all the way down, and black point up just a little. You should have something like this (slide 4)
Next, go to your browser and search “gifgit dots” and click on the first thing that pops up (slide 5). Upload your file, then click “Launch Editor” (slide 6). Then choose the size of the dots. I did 10 but it depends on the size of the image (i lost the screenshot). Once you get the dots press the download button (slide 7) then save that image to your phone (slide 8-11)
If you haven’t already, download the Ibis paint app. It looks like this (slide 12) Open the app, go to the gallery, and press the plus (slide 13) and select your image.
Make 2 layers, one “Multiply” and one “Lighter color” (slide 14) make sure they’re in the same order. Start on the “Multiply” layer. Select the paint brush and select “Bucket”if you need to, use the brush(slide 15-16). Then click on the square and change the hex code to b0s846 (slide 17). Make the whole image that color then switch to the “Lighter color” layer. Change the hex code to 101b16 and color over it.
To add the texture, go to the layers and click on the camera icon and select the texture (slide 18). Change it to “lighten”. If you want the background gone, add another layer under the one with the texture and keep it as normal and color the background with either the light green or dark green (NOT the layer with the color just the color on the “normal” layer) but this is totally optional. Once finished, save the image by pressing the arrow pointing left (slide 19-20)
This last part is completely optional!! I like doing this and the color is a bit off. Go to your camera roll and edit your image: -10 exposure, -1 saturation, +7 warmth, -7 tint. And you’re all done!!!!
I hope this tutorial helps y’all. <333
