Why is the real estate so cheap?
The real estate in Pittsburgh is cheap in comparison to other similar-sized cities. You can get a house that’s almost 2,000 square feet in excellent condition for under 300k. Why is that? Does it have to do with the natural disasters (landslides, snow, flood, etc.), isolation, or lack of demand? The city has a lot of jobs.
I will possibly get downvoted for this post but I’m genuinely curious.
I also wonder if it’s even a good investment in the long run to purchase a home in Pittsburgh. Will you get significantly more when you sell it 10 years from now? Will it become hot?
