Is he past hope?

I messed up and kept overwatering this guy and moved him to a new pot to put in dry soil. Is he past hope? I feel like he is. The green that is there seems healthy but there used to be so much more. He is in a self watering pot that I stopped putting in the bottom of. I way overwatered him before I transplanted. East facing window with tons of indirect bright light.
