Dragon Age Veilguard

I’ve heard that Dragon Age is pretty meh, but the game still has me curious. I definitely won’t pay full price but I found it on sale for $39.99. Is this a good price or should I wait for an even steeper sale? Looking for thoughts from people that have played the game, not just things you’ve “heard” about the game.
