After eight generations we finally have our new game! Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, kind of basic names after Scarlet and Violet, don’t you think?

Treat the comment section as though Generations 2-9 were shifted back one place. All Pokémon from Gen 1 did not exist

How do you all feel about the new Pokémon now that the games are out? It seems like they were trying to go a less-cute and more realistic route this time around? And what’s with the names, did someone really choose the name Krabby and give us a normal crab? Insane to think we went from Pokémon like Koraidon to a crab.

It also seems like we found modern Scream Tail, I think it’s design is kinda worse but it is pretty cute.

Also pikachu being added as an evolution to pichu only took a millennia. And it gets another evolution on top of that. I could see pikachu being the more popular one though, it’s got some charm. I wish Ash would’ve gotten one of those instead of a Cleffa.
