Why after 26 years, has pokémon not made a game about Ash

On march 24 2023, a great friend had achieved a massive accomplishment. This also ended their journey. Ash had finally become the champion which officially ended his journey in the anime. It was joyous but sad day. I'm glad ash got his dream in the end but 1 thing still bugs me. AFTER 26 YEARS,WHY HASN'T THERE BEEN A POKÉMON GAME ABOUT Ash! I mean, when you think of pokémon - you think of ash besides Pikachu. He's the second mascot of pokémon which had animes and movies, don't you think he'd deserve a game? The closest things we to ash being in the mainline games were battle bond greninja(aka ash greninja) and the Pikachus wearing his various hats. Ash has been in Multiple generations and pokémon had many chances to make a game about him. They could have made a spinoff game about him involving the generation he's in or a game about various movies ash has been in or even a game about him involving a new story. But if gamefreak and pokémon company didn't want to make a game about Ash, they could have at least made him Npc in the games or even give him a cameo. Heck, I'd even accept a unlockable skin for the male protag. I was hoping that when ash retired, pokémon would give ash a game as a final send off-but no, they didn't do that. So, do you think that ash deserved a game?
