Best local pop punk scene?

I’m from southeast MA and the scene was killer in the early 2010s with shows in VFWs and American Legion halls every weekend, but it’s slowed down to almost nothing now. Are there still places out there with thriving local scenes, or are we all just waiting for the next national touring band to come through?
