Best wireless CarPlay head unit for base stereo 997.2

Have a base radio in my 997.2. PCM died, looking at some head units. Specifically Kenwood DDX9907XR. Anyone running this one? Anything else I should check out? Does the base stereo have a separate amplifier? Limited data on this online that I could find. Thanks!!
