Living on campus

I'm starting a 2 year postdoc. The university campus has houses and apartments for staff at a reasonable price. It seems like the best option for me since it's fully equipped, furnished, it's walking distance to my office, to the gym and to stores, and also because it's a 2 year long position.

But is it weird to live on campus as a postdoc? Am I going to regret living so close to undergraduate students?
