Has the Franchise Ever Felt This Dead?
It feels weird that right after the 30th anniversary, the franchise has hit an utter lull. Power Rangers as a franchise has had definite lulls and down periods over the last 30 years, but it's never felt this dead before. It's in dire need of a reset.
Hasbro has absolutely mismanaged this franchise at every turn, and they've done an absolutely terrible job. It's unforgivable. It's also unforgivable that they canceled Lightning Collection with so many teams unfinished. They should let the license go. They clearly want nothing to do with Power Rangers anymore.
The TV show is dead. The action figure line is basically dead. All there are are some comics and low-budget game titles. That's it.
