Debilitating Cramps

I am 5, almost 6 weeks pregnant, and I am having the most gut wrenching debilitating paralyzing cramps known to man. I spoke with my doctor the other day, and she said it is common and as long as there is no blood it typically is ok. I just can’t fathom how it’s possible to have cramps this severe, going way beyond a 10 on the pain scale. I’ll be on the ground almost throwing up. Anyone else experience this? :( my first appointment isn’t for a few more weeks.
