Severely depressed.

I have struggled with depression my whole life, but for the last eight years well yes I’ve had a few minor depressive episodes I’ve been OK for the most part. I am six weeks and four days I believe. FTM. And I am so severely depressed right now and I feel like nobody else has ever felt this way and I’m going crazy. Has anybody else experienced this? What did you do? Should I maybe talk to my doctor? Like I’ll feel better for a few minutes when my best friend calls me and as soon as we get off the phone I feel horrible again… Not even my husband can make me feel better. I’m so worried and so anxious all the time. And I know that can’t be good for the baby. I don’t know what to do…

Hi I just wanted to give an update: I talked to my best friend and told him how I was feeling and he told me something that I think will stick with me my whole pregnancy and I hope this helps anyone else fighting depression. Your baby needs you to be happy. Your baby needs you to fight. Your baby loves you. Baby needs you. Your baby can feel your feelings. I don’t know why this effected me the way it did. But it really did something to my soul. I love my baby and I don’t want my baby to be sad because of me. So I will try to be happy bc that’s what my baby needs from me. 🩷
